Cookie policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. This site is designed to work with as little as possible: we use no advertising, social media or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. What we use

We only use technologies that are strictly necessary or that do not identify visitors:

  • Theme preference (light or dark): stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), only on your device, never sent to our servers.
  • Management area session: authentication cookies used exclusively by the Steevanz team in the private area. They are not set for visitors of the public website.
  • Usage metrics: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregated, anonymous data about pages visited and performance, without cookies and without identifying visitors.

2. Why there is no cookie banner

Under Portuguese Law 41/2004 and the guidance of the Portuguese data protection authority, consent is only required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. As we use no advertising or tracking cookies, we don't need to ask for consent. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your permission before setting such cookies.

3. Third-party services

When you follow links to WhatsApp, Instagram or Google, you leave our website and the privacy and cookie policies of those services apply.

4. How to manage or delete

You can delete data stored by this site at any time in your browser settings, under privacy or site data. If in doubt, email rcabaco@steevanz.com.
